Christmas Tree Farms in Bryan, Texas
There’s nothing more festive than cutting down your own tree at a Christmas tree farm, and Bryan boasts three impressive tree farms. Each one is unique and features fun events throughout the holiday season.
Tanglewood Christmas Trees
Tanglewood Christmas Trees is a family-owned tree farm that’s been in Bryan for around forty years. Here’s how the process works: take a hayride out to the fields, where you’re given a saw, measuring stick and tree tag. Choose the tree you want to take home and get to work cutting it down.
Once you tag the tree, all you have to do is put it back on the hayride to purchase it. The process is simple, but it’s guaranteed to be a magical experience for the whole family. Along with choosing your own tree, Tanglewood offers festive refreshments and activities.
You can even play cornhole or book a session with a photographer to get your family photos taken.
Tim’s Trees
Not far from Bryan in Wheelock is Tim’s Trees, a magical choose-and-cut Christmas tree farm. They offer a wide variety of Christmas tree species to choose from and offer the rugged, authentic experience that you can’t get anywhere else.
The tree farm typically opens in late November, but it’s best to keep an eye on the website for exact dates.
Brazos Valley Tree Farm
The Brazos Valley Tree Farm does not sell Christmas trees, but it still creates a magical holiday experience. Enjoy Christmas at the Tree Farm, an annual event that features horse-drawn carriage rides, a trail of lights, games, activities and even a zipline. The event also offers full concessions and shopping opportunities.
Even though you can’t purchase a Christmas tree here, you can still enjoy a festive evening on the farm.
Once you bring your tree home, it’s time to decorate your house’s exterior. ABC can help with professional Christmas light installation. Our lighting pros can explain the different types of Christmas lights to you and bring your vision to life.
