The Ronald McDonald House of Corpus Christi (RMHC) accepts donations of shoes and clothing in drop-off boxes located around Corpus Christi. RMHC receives a portion of the proceeds from all donated items, which assists this organization in its mission of providing a comfortable home-away-from-home for families that must travel to fulfill their children’s health care needs. RMHC also has a vehicle donation program.
Salvation Army of Corpus Christi accepts donations of clothes, household items, furniture or appliances to help further its mission of helping people in need in a variety of ways, in God’s name and without discrimination. How To Dispose Of Household Items

The City of Corpus Christi accepts household hazardous wastes year-round, free of charge, Monday through Saturday from 8 AM until 5 PM at the J.C. Elliott Collection Center. Bring your automotive waste, paints, pesticides, insecticides, cleaners, batteries and more. Brush and bulky items are also picked up in residential neighborhoods on a quarterly basis.
Community Coalition Partnerships provides prescription drug drop-off boxes; Corpus Christi’s is located at the Nueces County Constable’s Office (10110 Compton Rd.).
Target has Guest Recycling Stations in the front of each store where you can drop off aluminum cans, plastic bottles and beverage containers, plastic shopping bags, ink cartridges, cell phones and MP3 players. You can also recycle MP3 batteries and cell phones in these bins.
